Culvert Ends

Culvert ends (also known as head walls) are designed to prevent adjacent soil materials from migrating into the waterway opening due to the turbulence and errosion of water.  They also improve the flow of water into and out of conduits, provide support for the pipe and provide support under the pressure of materials above.   They are a important materials for protecting infrastructure and providing structural support.  For more information on the benefits of culvert ends click here.

Pre-cast culvert ends are an efficient alternative to shuttering of embankments and on-site form work.  In the province of Nova Scotia, they can be utilized in place of rip rap in the construction of driveways (with appropriate supervisor approval).  Our pre-cast culvert ends are available for timely installation providing stability and long service life for your construction projects.
